L’assemblage intentionnel d’objets disposés à dessein reste une tradition dans nos us et coutumes. Le recours à la photographie est une solution pour tenter d’en comprendre les raisons. Avec ses images, Roselyne Titaud dispose d’un alphabet dans lequel elle puise au gré des histoires qu’elle compose. Un fil conducteur virevolte avec fluidité entre des temporalités et des lieux distincts. Au-delà de l’esthétisation, Titaud réussit à faire « exister » ses appropriations de scénographies et à leur donner sens.
Roselyne Titaud is a photographer and has been living in Berlin since 2010. Her work is imbued with an insatiable curiosity for the reconfigurations of a world that modernity has not yet succeeded in banishing from our habits. The intentional arranging of objects remains a part of our costumes and traditions. Resorting to photography is a solution to try to understand the reasons. With her images Roselyne Titaud creates an alphabet which she can draw from as her stories are composed. An underlying theme spins freely between distinct temporalities and places. Beyond the notion of aestheticism, Titaud succeeds in making her appropriations of scenography %u201Cexist%u201D, and to give them meaning.
